SeVIIn (Brandon Burrell) Reasons, originally from Brooklyn New York, decided in the summer of 2013 to release an R&B
compilation mixtape entitled E.1995. Following this 2015 release, it was decided that his sound needed to elevate. In order to enhance his artistry he began to battle
his brother in the format to what we now know as Versez. Every weekend they would comprise a list of their top
5 influences, both in Hip-hop and R&B. They would battle each other song for song focusing on vocal performances, creativity, subject matter
and overall composition. In the fall of 2019, they returned to the studio to work on the EP, Sum L.I.F.E. It was
released May of 2020. Their influences include but are not limited to Static Major, Keeny Greene, Jodeci, Nas,
2pac, Dru Hill, Big L, Joe Budden, Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass and Keven “Dino” Conner.
